Depending on your location, a local organization may occasionally offer a free or low-cost chipping program to help you dispose of woody debris produced while reducing hazardous fuels on your property. Program availability is not guaranteed, but reach out to the following organizations to inquire about upcoming offerings:

Trout Lake and Glenwood: Mt. Adams Resource Stewards (info@mtadamsstewards.org)

White Salmon/Bingen, Snowden, and other areas west of the Klickitat River: Underwood Conservation District (fire@ucdwa.org)

Central and eastern Klickitat County (east of the Klickitat River): Central and Eastern Klickitat Conservation District (lorenm@ckcd.org)
